Comments – test posting
I’ve read comments received so far and as this is only the start of our blog testing there is quite a lot to be done. There is a research tab for a new static page and I now need some text for that. How the tabs should be ordered will vary depending on what each person thinks is important. Clear labelling might be more important. Sorting out RSS and the calendar are next on the list. (Calendar needs some dates . . .).We will be digging out as many links to CDE researchers blogs as we can over the next few weeks – and encouraging others to help set one up (with our help where needed – but we’re a long way off being experienced at this!). And need to test the tags

New community space
During a recent meeting about CDE research activity we agreed that a simple blog such as this could be used to link to the various electronic outputs of our research community. An example of this is Jane Secker’s blog at LSE on social software, libraries and distance learners.
